On this weekend in season 2002/03 club legend Nat Challis had a superb all round game for the 2nds against Melbourne Tooronga. We won't focus on the result as the team lost but on one for many all-round performances Nat delivered for the club throughout her long and distinguished career. In this match Nat captured 6 for 59 from 17 overs opening the bowling and made 103 batting at 4. Nat played 181 games for Box Hill (156 of those in the 1sts) collecting 8 Club Champion awards being the inaugural winner in 1992/93. Nat also won the Una Paisley Medal for the Premier Firsts MVP that season. Nat was awarded life membership of the club in 2007 and the Best U/21 female player award named in her honour.

On this weekend in season 2009/10 English import Andy Rhodes made his maiden century for Box Hill in the 2nd XI's narrow loss to Preston. Chasing Preston's 242 Andy almost delivered a stirring victory. After arriving at the crease at 3 for 42 Andy batted through until being the last dismissed with the score on 232. Support was received from Daniel Snell, Tom Newman and Sam Morris through the middle however unfortunately Andy was unable to hang around with Brendan King (arguably the best number 11 batsman in Subbies) to deliver a victory. Andy displayed his allround skills delivering 20 overs the week before in support of Suresh ("Fresh") Ravichardran who delivered 23 overs for the figures of 4 for 60.  Andy played the single season however continues to keep tabs on the club. Hope all is going well back home!
